Three years running, Bon Appetit magazine and the James Beard Foundation have honored Tim Young as one of the best up and coming chefs in the Midwest because of the magnificent foodstuffs he's producing from his Food For Thought company based here in northern Michigan. Chef Young will show you what to do with that bushel of tomatoes you hauled home from the farmer's market. Watch him prepare a wonderful marinara sauce, two different base salsas (you can personalize them with fruit or somesuch as you see fit), and a canned tomato recipe with basil and garlic for various uses.
