She and her husband Mike founded the Grand Traverse Pie Company back in 1996 and nurtured it into a statewide enterprise without compromising anything. Denise will be the first to tell you, it's all about the dough. Watch her demonstrate an unexpectedly fun vegetable quiche, fold-over pasties (pie that eats like a meal) Italian-style pizza in a shell, and traditional pot pies “shepherds pie.” Dough, duh, dough.
